Napoli have reportedly joined the race to sign Mason Greenwood as they close in on a deal with Manchester United.

ทางเข้า ufabet claim that Napoli have turned their attentions to Greenwood and are currently in talks with United.

Sport Mediaset adds that the Azzurri are close to reaching an agreement with the Red Devils for a fee in the region of €30m. The

offer is close to the €31.6m agreed with Olympique de Marseille, however,

opposition from fans and the mayor of Marseille has meant that a deal for the French club has yet to progress and has opened the door for Napoli to join the race. Lazio were

also interested in the 22-year-old, but they appear to have pulled out of the race.

Greenwood, who impressed on loan at Getafe last season with 33 appearances, 8 goals, and 6 assists, has been the subject of intense interest from multiple clubs.

Lazio have been pursuing Greenwood with an offer of €20 million plus 50% of any future resale value, and even sent an emissary to England to negotiate.

Marseille have also tabled a €30 million bid and are awaiting the player’s response.

Additionally, Roma have expressed a keen interest in Greenwood, adding to the competition for his signature.

However, the report states that Napoli will need to sell Jesper Lindstrom before they can finalise the deal.

Napoli have already made two signings this summer, with Leonardo Spinazzola and Rafa Marin, and are set to add Alessandro Buongiorno after he travelled in for a medical.
