Mikel Arteta is unsure if Jurrien Timber will be fit in time to face Paris Saint-Germain in the second leg of their Champions League semi-final. Timber

was left out of Arsenal’s 2-1 defeat to Bournemouth on Saturday. With the Spaniard admitting after the game the player was not fit enough to feature. With Ben White coming on in his place.
Asked if he was confident Timber would be fit to play against Paris Saint-Germain, Arteta said: “
Confidence? Not at the moment. Because he cannot play in this match and we have to play again in four days.”

Timber played 83 minutes of the first leg defeat at the Emirates. Before being replaced by Ben White. And White started at right back against Bournemouth in Timber’s absence.
The Netherlands international has made 47 appearances in all competitions this season, providing two goals and four assists.
Arsenal will already be without defenders Gabriel and Takehiro Tomiyasu for Wednesday’s Champions League second leg. While Riccardo Calafiori is yet to return after suffering a knee injury on international duty with Italy in March.
The Dutch defender played 83 minutes in the first leg as Arsenal lost 1-0 at home to Paris Saint-Germain, with the return leg a tough one as they travel to France. The Gunners
also suffered disappointment against Bournemouth, taking a lead through Declan Rice only to concede in the second half.
